Welcome...back...
PJ Sherman is reborn - we hope you've missed the content...
Horror, Dark Fantasy, Thrillers...oh, and light-hearted blog posts too...
So it seems that the last time I posted on here was around 2 years ago - can it SERIOUSLY be THAT long since the COVID era? Seems that way. Wow...
Anyway, a quick recap of my whereabouts - after having a somewhat difficult period with my mental health (thanks to the national lockdown, the unrelenting stresses of a bottom-feeder job and the aftermath of a long-term relationship breaking down), it was time for a serious & sustained period of reflection.
I moved job roles (and am now happy), moved cities (now living in Manchester) and have decided to properly pursue one of my hobbies (Life of PJ), so I can honestly confirm that my life is quite cosy. Yes, despite record inflation eroding savings and a waist line that seems to be getting more & more difficult to shift the older I get, I am still happy. It's the reason why I've fired this back up & decided to torture you some more with my ravings...
Life of PJ has brought a lot of happiness to my life, which hopefully you can tell from the videos.
Life of PJ
As you can see above & on the home page, I've referenced Life of PJ a few times. Why? It's my current passion project and something I would urge you to seek out, dear reader. Do not underestimate the power of a passion project to bring purpose back to your life and reconnect that severed bond. It has allowed me to release my creative side once more & is challenging me to pick up the proverbial pen and get to work on my next project - a full length, living & breathing novel. Not a collection of short stories...A NOVEL!
To be continued...
A brief interlude, but I'm back. Hopefully you missed me. If not, I'll direct you to the 'x' in the top right of the screen or the red circle if, like me, you're a mac user. However, this was more a stream of consciousness than anything substantial. Just to free the words inside and let you know that I'm still alive.
I rhyme too. Unbelievable...
Until next time, dear reader...
